Bio
My name is Josh Hurwitz, and I'm currently a second year graduate student in Mathematics at the University of Florida. I did my undergrad at the University of Florida from 2008-2012 and graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry. During my time at UF, I have contributed to several research projects ranging from animal stroke models in the McKnight Brain Institute to bio/nanotechnology in the UF Department of Chemistry. I'm currently involved in a joint project with the UF Department of Mathematics and the Emergency Department at Shands to model and reduce Emergency Room waiting times.
